Susan Anderson, MSN, RN
Volunteer Medical Advisory Board member providing expertise and guidance in support of the Rise to Life Foundation’s mission
Susan Anderson is a highly accomplished Registered Nurse with 36 years of experience spanning critical care, emergency medicine, nursing administration, and nursing education. She earned her BSN from the University of Delaware in 1989 and completed her MSN in Nursing Leadership in May 2019.
With extensive bedside experience, Susan has cared for adult patients facing both acute and chronic conditions, including emergency and intensive care needs. Over the past 12 years, she has also dedicated herself to teaching, serving as both part-time and full-time faculty and administrator for RN and LPN programs. Her instructional expertise includes Nursing Fundamentals, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Maternal-Newborn Care, and the Nursing Care of Children.
In addition to her professional achievements, Susan is a wife, a proud mother of six children, and a grandmother. She also serves as Co-Administrator for the largest Youth Flag Football League on the East Coast, where her leadership and organizational skills shine beyond the healthcare field.
Compassionate by nature and committed to service, Susan is known for always extending a helping hand. She brings a nurturing approach, strong leadership, and a wealth of clinical and educational expertise to the advisory board of Rise to Life Foundation.
